SANY Delivers 18 Fire Truck Units To Iraq’s Interior Ministry

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - SANY has delivered 18 PM40 fire truck units to Iraq's Ministry of Interior, which is the company's first large-scale government order for firefighting vehicles internationally.

The delivery, completed in February 2026 after two years of development and coordination, will assist civil defence and emergency response activities in central and southern Iraq.

The fire vehicles are based on MAN truck chassis and are intended for tough firefighting and rescue duties. The new fleet is anticipated to boost Iraq's emergency response capabilities and increase firefighting coverage in strategic areas.

The order marks a significant milestone for SANY's firefighting equipment division as it develops its footprint in the worldwide emergency vehicle market.

The deployment is part of Iraqi authorities' larger attempts to update civil defense equipment and improve emergency response infrastructure.
