Alef Group Highlights Sustainability Focus Of AED4 Billion Linar Development

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - The Alef Group has disclosed further information about its AED4 billion Linar project, which it is touting as the company's first fully integrated beachfront master-planned city in Sharjah.

Issa Ataya, CEO, said the development would have a number of sustainability elements such as low-carbon concrete created from recycled materials, rubberised asphalt roads and solar-powered infrastructure aimed at enhancing energy efficiency.

Alef Group has also entered into a strategic cooperation with BEEAH Group to work on environmental measures and enable climate-positive urban development in Sharjah.

Situated on one of the emirate’s few remaining beachfront sites between two bodies of water, the project has already generated significant investor interest. Alef claimed Towers A, B and C were launched and all 1,572 residential apartments in the first phase were completely booked.

Linar joins Alef Group’s increasing portfolio of master-planned communities including Al Mamsha, Hayyan and Olfa, as the developer continues to extend its footprint in Sharjah’s residential market.
