Trojan And Orascom Launch Abu Dhabi Water Infrastructure Joint Venture

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - An agreement has been reached between Trojan Construction Holding and Orascom Construction to form Everwater Water Treatment Systems, a new joint venture located in Abu Dhabi that will concentrate on major water infrastructure projects around the area.

The new business will function as a 50/50 partnership, offering EPC as well as operations and maintenance services for wastewater, water, and desalination projects.

Senior leaders from both firms inked the deal during the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit.

Trojan Construction Holding's regional execution skills and Orascom Construction's expertise in delivering water infrastructure throughout the Middle East and Africa, where the company has worked on projects with combined water, wastewater, and desalination capacity exceeding 17 million cubic meters per day, will be combined by Everwater.

Final discussions for a 300,000 cubic meter-per-day desalination facility in the area are already underway.
