Qatar Eases Port Tariffs To Support Logistics Sector Amid Supply Chain Disruptions

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Mwani Qatar has implemented interim reductions and modifications to port rates to facilitate logistical operations while supply chains are disrupted due to regional tensions.

The measures include changes to specific tariff regulations designed to relieve operational and financial strains on shipping lines, importers, and logistics providers.

The project is part of the Ministry of Transport's larger efforts to promote the private sector and keep commerce flowing amid a moment of increased uncertainty.

Mwani Qatar said that the improvements are intended to give more flexible storage alternatives while ensuring the continuation of import, export, and supply chain operations.

The facilitation package will be in effect for the present period of interruption until further notice.
