The agreement enables goods arriving at Omani seaports to be cleared in Oman before being carried under customs seal by road via the Al Wajajah and Hatta border crossings to Dubai.
Final customs processes are handled in Dubai, allowing for speedier processing while meeting conventional compliance criteria.
The corridor includes shipments for both the UAE's domestic market and free zones such as Jebel Ali Port and Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The program aims to enhance supply chain efficiency, offer an alternate transportation route, and assist maintain stable trade flows during a time of increased regional instability.
