Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Bahri logistical has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Red Sea Global (RSG) to extend logistical assistance for the developer's growing tourist projects in Saudi Arabia.
The agreement expands on the firms' existing partnership by exploring integrated logistics services and supply chain solutions for RSG's current and future operating needs, including its key The Red Sea and AMAALA initiatives.
The MoU was signed during the opening of the Bahri Logistics Bonded Zone at Jeddah Islamic Port, which offers bonded storage, customs facilitation, and other value-added logistics services. The facility is anticipated to facilitate more complicated supply chains while also improving the flow and storage of commodities entering the Kingdom.
The increased relationship is especially important as RSG continues to build large-scale tourist infrastructure, which necessitates the coordinated transfer of building materials, equipment, and project cargo to locations along Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast.
The arrangement also contributes to Saudi Arabia's overall investment in logistics infrastructure under Vision 2030, as significant tourist, building, and infrastructure projects drive increased need for efficient domestic and international supply chains.
