Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Konecranes has won an order for 23 lift trucks from a mining client in Chile where the equipment will assist logistical operations at a large copper mine in the north of the nation.

The order, scheduled in the first quarter of 2026, covers 16 Konecranes F 16-600 C forklifts, four F 10-600 C forklifts and three SMV 32-1200 C heavy-duty lift trucks. Delivery is anticipated in the third quarter of 2026.

All units will be fitted with specialist mining packages and are expected to work in the difficult working circumstances often seen in large scale copper mining operations such as dust, high loads and tough terrain.

The new equipment will provide the client an extended Konecranes fleet with greater fuel economy, higher uptime and better material handling capabilities.
