SANY Delivers 40 Electric Wheel Loaders To Major Thai Rice Mill

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - SANY has deployed a fleet of 40 electric wheel loaders to one of the world's biggest rice mills in Thailand, assisting with material handling activities where dust control, equipment availability, and worker safety are crucial.

The loaders, powered by 424 kWh batteries, can operate continuously for more than eight hours and recharge in around 1.5 hours, allowing for high equipment availability in demanding industrial applications. The machines are also IP67-rated, which means they can function dependably in hard, dusty settings.

The battery-electric loaders have no tailpipe emissions and substantially lower noise levels than typical diesel-powered equipment, making them ideal for enclosed industrial facilities like food processing plants.

The deployment demonstrates the expanding popularity of electric heavy equipment outside of construction and mining, with manufacturers increasingly focusing on industrial clients looking to decrease operating costs, enhance worker conditions, and reduce carbon emissions.
