DP World Expands Jafza Logistics Capacity With New Grade A Warehouse

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - DP World, in partnership with Arcapita and Lintara Properties, has begun work on a new 215,000 sq ft Grade A logistics facility in Jafza.

The facility is being created to fulfill the rising need for premium warehouse space in Dubai, where the market continues to witness strong demand from logistics, distribution and supply chain operators.

The warehouse, set to open in early 2027, will include temperature-controlled storage, specialist space for the handling of hazardous items and flexible operations space to cater for a broad variety of logistical needs.

On completion, the facility will be managed by DP World as part of its integrated logistics network in Jebel Ali, providing clients with a centrally placed distribution hub that is capable of servicing the UAE and the broader GCC markets.

The project comes amid growing demand for contemporary Grade A storage throughout Dubai with industry projections suggesting more than 5 million square feet of additional premium logistics space may be added to the market over the next two years.
