DMCC Launches Two Office Towers In Uptown Dubai Expansion

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - In order to increase the mixed-use development's office capacity, DMCC has revealed plans for two additional commercial buildings in its Uptown Dubai neighborhood.

By adding more than 560,000 square feet of Grade A office space, One Uptown Place and Two Uptown Place would increase the district's overall commercial footprint to more than one million square feet.

Rising to 21 and 15 stories, the buildings will provide a variety of office layouts, from 2,100 to 17,600 square feet, including multi-level arrangements for bigger occupants.

As a way to reinforce Uptown Dubai's status as an integrated destination that combines office, retail, and leisure features, an extra 82,000 square feet of retail space will be added.

It is anticipated that leasing will start in the second half of the year and be finished in the first quarter of 2028.

The expansion coincides with DMCC's creation of new business ecosystems, such as programs centered on digital assets, capital markets, and finance, which are fueling demand for premium office space.

The buildings, which were designed by the Brewer Smith Brewer Group, will include more than 1,600 parking spots, a swimming pool, and eating options in addition to access to the Dubai Metro.

With energy-efficient technology and sustainable features, the buildings aim for LEED Gold certification.
