Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Wujod Real Estate Development and Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) have teamed together to develop a massive sustainable city project in Abu Dhabi.
The first phase of the master-planned complex is expected to cost AED 2 billion ($544 million), and it will cover around 10 million square meters.
In addition to sustainable infrastructure and lifestyle amenities, the low-density project will have residential neighborhoods, wellness centers, equestrian facilities, innovation hubs, and natural landscapes.
The relationship, according to BILDCO, a construction materials and infrastructure firm located in the United Arab Emirates, is in line with its vision to use cutting-edge building materials and infrastructure solutions to support sustainable urban growth and rising demand within the real estate industry.
According to Wujod, the project aims to establish a new class of ecological and lifestyle-led development with an emphasis on long-term sustainable value generation, tourism, and growth driven by innovation.
