Arada Awards $555 Million Contracts In Sharjah’s Aljada Project

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Arada, a UAE developer, has given two construction contracts totaling AED2.04 billion ($555 million) to build 2,210 residences in Sharjah's Aljada megaproject.

The contracts comprise the construction of 14 residential structures for the AED35 billion complex.

China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group, a part of the China Railway Group, will construct five Nesba buildings on East Boulevard and five Safa buildings on West Boulevard.

Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al Kharafi and Sons, headquartered in Kuwait, will build The Gate blocks 3 through 6, at the community's southern entrance.

Work on both contracts is planned to take 26 months, with completion slated for the second quarter of 2028, prior to the inauguration of Madar Mall.

The apartment towers will have one- to four-bedroom homes outfitted with smart home technologies.

Aljada covers over 24 million square feet and will ultimately comprise over 25,000 houses, as well as retail, education, sports, and business space. The neighborhood now has over 20,000 people and is situated near Sharjah International Airport and main roads connecting the emirate to Dubai.
