Al Sahel Contracting Wins $190M Ghaf Woods Project From Majid Al Futtaim

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Al Sahel Contracting, part of Al Nabooda Group, has been awarded the main construction contract for the Distrikt Ghaf Woods development by Majid Al Futtaim.

With work having begun in April 2026, the contract, valued at more than AED 700 million ($190 million), represents a significant turning point in the completion of the residential project in Dubai.

The building of the nature-focused community, which is centered on integrated urban living, green areas, and wellness, is included in the scope.

Al Sahel was chosen via a competitive contract procedure based on its technical proficiency and large-scale development expertise.

Distrikt Ghaf Woods, which offers manicured surroundings and access to important parts of the city, is positioned as a nature-led residential community inspired by the Ghaf tree.

The project is being undertaken in the midst of Dubai's ongoing demand for upscale residential complexes, which is being bolstered by significant interest from both domestic and foreign purchasers.
