Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Toyota Material Handling has unveiled a new diesel-powered forklift, increasing its line of equipment built for tough outdoor applications.
The Core Diesel Pneumatic Forklift is designed for usage in areas such as construction sites, ports, lumberyards, and building material facilities, with a lifting capability of 4,000 to 6,500 pounds.
The model has pneumatic tires for increased performance on rough terrain and is engineered to provide great torque and stable operation under big loads.
Toyota claims the forklift contains its System of Active Stability, which is designed to reduce the danger of tip-overs and improve operator safety. An onboard display gives real-time operational data, while diesel power allows for longer working cycles and less downtime in demanding applications.
The equipment also contains telematics via Toyota's MyInsights system, which allows operators to track performance, schedule maintenance, and increase efficiency.
Solid tyres, synchronized steering, and fork positioning systems are optional features that allow the machine to be customized to meet particular operating needs.
Toyota indicated that the new type is intended to provide longevity, minimal maintenance costs, and consistent performance in high-demand industrial applications.
