Terex Tower Cranes Unveils CTL 712-45 Luffing Jib Crane At CONEXPO 2026

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, Terex Tower Cranes, a subsidiary of Raimondi Cranes, unveiled the CTL 712-45 luffing jib crane, broadening its range of work for large-scale and high-rise building projects.

The crane has a 5.8-ton tip load and a 70-meter jib. Its 134-kW hoist winch can raise objects at up to 226 m/min in a single fall. The model, which was created for demanding lifting applications, combines enhanced control and operational efficiency with great performance.

The CTL 712-45, which is supported by an HD23 mast, provides flexibility for tall building projects and crowded metropolitan areas by reaching a maximum radius of 131.2 meters under hook and a conventional tower height of 63.4 meters. Additionally, the completely electric crane is designed to operate more quietly and efficiently, making it ideal for contemporary building settings.

The model has sophisticated control systems, such as the T-Torque inverter technology for more accurate load management and smoother slewing, and the T-Line auto-leveling system, which keeps the load height constant throughout jib luffing.

With standardized pins and bolts, less tooling needed, and ground-level primary assembly to increase safety and save installation time, the crane has also been designed for simpler assembly and maintenance. Safety during operation and maintenance is further increased by upgraded enclosures and integrated railings.

Building on the success of the CTL 702-32 model, the CTL 712-45 is designed to accommodate the more intricate lifting needs of contemporary building projects.
