Mantrac Tanzania Launches Cat 333 Excavator

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Mantrac Tanzania has introduced the Cat 333 hydraulic crawler excavator to the local market, boosting its equipment portfolio for construction, earthmoving, and infrastructure projects.

The next-generation excavator weighs 32.6 tons and is driven by a Cat C7.1 engine producing 195 kW (260 horsepower). It can dig up to 7.37 meters and has bucket capacity of 1.9-2.0 m³.

According to Mantrac, the Cat 333 may improve operator efficiency by up to 45%, save up to 25% on fuel, and reduce maintenance expenses by up to 20%. Improved safety measures are also included to facilitate safer operation on construction sites.

Customers, partners, and industry leaders attended the launch event, where Mantrac representatives showcased and explained the machine's productivity, efficiency, and operational characteristics.

The Cat 333 is largely produced in China as part of Caterpillar's worldwide medium-excavator manufacturing network. Machines from this industrial network are sent to Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.

The Cat 333 expands Mantrac Tanzania's portfolio in the 30-tonne-plus excavator category, giving contractors another choice for demanding excavation, loading, and general earthmoving operations.
