Caterpillar Appoints Jubaco As Authorized Cat Dealer In Syria

Jubaili Bros Holding Appointed Caterpillar Dealer In Syria

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Jubaco, an affiliate of the Jubaili Group, has been officially appointed as the authorized Cat® dealer in Syria, strengthening the country’s access to heavy equipment and power solutions as reconstruction activity begins to accelerate.

The appointment covers the Cat® brand of Caterpillar, the global leader in construction, mining, power and energy equipment and related services.

Led by Karim Jubaili, who serves as Chief Executive Officer, Jubaco has been purpose-built specifically for the Syrian market and is fully authorized to represent Cat® in the country.

While affiliated with the wider Jubaili Group, Jubaco’s mandate is distinct and focused on supporting anticipated demand from infrastructure, construction, utilities and power projects, as Syria gradually re-engages with international suppliers, including US-based manufacturers.

Under the dealership, Jubaco will be responsible for the sales, service and product support of Caterpillar equipment and solutions across Syria. The role is expected to support projects spanning construction, transport, housing, utilities and industrial development, where demand for reliable machinery and power systems is expected to grow.

Jubaco joins Caterpillar’s established dealer network across the Middle East and neighbouring regions. Other Cat dealers in the region include Zahid Tractor in Saudi Arabia; Mohamed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar, serving the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain; IRATRAC in Iraq; Jordan Tractor & Equipment Co. in Jordan; M. Ezzat Jallad & Fils S.A.L in Lebanon; and Mantrac, which operates across Egypt and multiple African markets.

Caterpillar maintains a significant operational footprint in the Middle East, supported by key regional facilities in the UAE, including a major logistics and parts distribution hub in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone. The facility supports dealers across the Middle East and parts of Africa, enabling faster parts availability, technical support and fleet reliability for large-scale infrastructure, energy and mining projects.

Founded in Lebanon more than eight decades ago, the Jubaili family has built a diversified regional business with operations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq and other markets. The group is best known for its power generation activities, including diesel and gas generator sets, hybrid and renewable energy systems, electrical distribution solutions and comprehensive after-sales support.
