Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Bobcat has introduced a new and extended line of generators for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), including over 20 types with prime power outputs ranging from 20 kVA to 1,650 kVA.
The generators, which are designed and built in the MEA region, are meant to offer increased heat resistance, high airflow, and strong components that are appropriate for local operating usage.
Local production is also predicted to shorten delivery times, cut transportation costs, and minimize customs charges, resulting in a cheaper total cost of ownership in an increasingly competitive market.
The new range is aimed at applications in construction, renting, and agricultural, as well as residential standby power, telecommunications, and backup power for small and large corporations.

The six smallest versions in the range, ranging from 20 kVA to 165 kVA, remain unaltered and are powered by Yanmar and Volvo engines, which prioritize dependability, low noise levels, and minimal maintenance needs.
The main expansion is in the medium and large generator categories. Bobcat has retained selected HD Hyundai Infracore engines in numerous models up to 820 kVA while launching a new range of Yuchai-powered generators. This expansion broadens the offering to include higher-capacity models, raising the maximum output from the previous 850 kVA limit to 1,650 kVA.
The enlarged portfolio intends to cover the region's most widely utilized generator sizes, including 100 kVA, 200 kVA, 500 kVA, and 1,000 kVA units, after thorough testing in high-temperature Middle Eastern settings.
