Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - HD Construction Equipment has been formally launched after the merging of HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and HD Hyundai Infracore on January 1.
The new company held an inauguration event at HD Hyundai's Ulsan site to complete all merger procedures. Moon Jae-young has been named as the company's first president.
The merger forms South Korea's most complete construction equipment firm, with an annual revenue of over $6 billion. The corporation has production plants in South Korea and other countries, including India, China, Brazil, and Norway.
By 2030, HD Construction Equipment expects to generate over $11 billion in yearly sales, roughly doubling its present size.
As of 2025, the OEM is ranked 14th internationally, with intentions to grow into construction equipment, engines, and aftermarket services.
A key approach is harnessing synergies between the HYUNDAI and DEVELON brands via a worldwide manufacturing system intended to increase scale, efficiency, and cost competitiveness.
