The company will construct HOWO trucks for both Rwandan and regional markets, and it is expected to generate up to 1,500 employments in its first two years of operation.
Additionally, the OEM unveiled its latest-generation HOWO heavy-duty trucks, which feature MAN-based engine technology intended to enhance fuel economy and lower operating costs for fleet owners.
Looking forward, China’s Sinotruk intends to deploy electric trucks to Rwanda, therefore boosting the country's rising acceptance of electric mobility while lowering operating costs for domestic transport providers.
