Hyundai Launches HA45A 4x4 Articulated Dump Truck For Quarry And Construction Use

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Hyundai Construction Equipment has introduced the HA45A 4x4, its first two-axle articulated dump truck (ADT), aimed for quarrying and major construction projects demanding greater haul lengths.

The new model combines the speed of a rigid truck with the traction and flexibility of an articulated design, and it can carry a 41-ton payload in a 25.7 cubic meter dump body.

The truck's eight-speed automatic transmission, integrated retarder system, and 368kW six-cylinder diesel engine, which generates 2,476Nm of torque, enable effective operation and better downhill control.

Compared to conventional three-axle ADTs, the HA45A's hydro-gas suspension on both axles is intended to provide faster travel times and more comfortable riding. Lockable longitudinal differentials and limited-slip differentials improve traction.

Particularly on difficult terrain, the machine's front-mounted turning ring improves stability and control by balancing weight distribution.

According to Hyundai, the truck has productivity and safety features including automatic hold, wet disc brakes, overload alarms, and payload monitoring.

The dump body is built for effective load handling with optional heating and stability controls, and the cab has a 12-inch digital monitor, enhanced visibility, and better operator comfort systems.

According to the manufacturer, the HA45A 4x4 offers an alternative to traditional dump trucks in mining and construction settings and is appropriate for tasks demanding high productivity on stable haul roads.
