Emirates Global Motor Electric Expands SANY Electric Truck Deployment In UAE

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Emirates Global Motor Electric, located in the UAE, has extended its deployment of SANY electric trucks as part of DSV's next phase of fleet electrification efforts.

Emirates Global Motor Electric stated that the most recent deployment includes the addition of SANY Truck EV 490 6x4 models that are equipped with 588 kWh battery packs. This move serves to bolster the confidence in the operational performance and scalability of electric heavy-duty vehicles in real-world logistics scenarios.

The expansion is indicative of the increasing adoption of electric commercial vehicles by large fleet operators in the UAE, who are currently striving to reduce emissions while simultaneously preserving reliability and payload capability.

Emirates Global Motor Electric, a subsidiary of the Al Fahim Group, is the exclusive distributor of a variety of electric and hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles from international manufacturers in the UAE. These vehicles are battery-electric and hydrogen-powered.
