Daimler Truck Unifies Middle East And Southern Africa Operations

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Daimler Truck has strengthened its position in 69 markets by consolidating its Middle East and Southern Africa operations into one regional organization, starting 1 July.

The transaction will bring Daimler Truck Middle East Africa and Daimler Truck Southern Africa Ltd under the Daimler Truck Latin America, Middle East, and Africa (DTLAMEA) umbrella.

The new company will attempt to increase cooperation, develop operational efficiencies, and take use of the combined experience of both enterprises, while keeping a strong local market emphasis.

Daimler Truck aims to boost customer and dealer partner service throughout the Middle East and Africa by combining the two regional divisions, to improve efficiencies and accelerate regional development objectives.

The integration is a strategic move to grow Daimler Truck’s commercial vehicle business in one of its major regional markets, which includes 69 nations.
