Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Iraq has taken a major step toward sustainable urban development with the launch of Bloom Village, the country’s first large-scale eco-friendly residential project.
Located south of Baghdad near the Dora Yusufiya highway, the project is being developed by Al Jidar Group for Real Estate and Industrial Investments. The developers aim to create a healthy living environment by incorporating wide green spaces and mature trees that help reduce pollution and improve air quality.
A central feature of the development is its reliance on renewable solar energy, which will supply electricity to homes as well as service and recreational facilities.
The company described the project as a significant advancement in low-carbon urban planning and expressed hope that it will inspire other developers to adopt similar environmentally conscious initiatives in line with global sustainability efforts.
