As the construction industry in UAE evolves to meet increasing demands for speed, efficiency, and quality, industrialized building methods are becoming the new standard. One of the most advanced approaches gaining momentum is the use of precast box systems where large structural modules are manufactured off-site and assembled on-site using heavy lifting equipment.
At Johnson Arabia, we supported our latest project which was the building of such structures by providing specialized lifting solutions with our crane. This crane was particularly effective for the villa construction, significantly reducing timelines while maintaining superior build quality.
Since these particular structures weighed between 80 to 120 tons, we chose to use our Terex Demag AC700 (700ton) crane for this operation. Our crane operations focused on Lifting and positioning large precast modules with precision Ensuring accurate placement within tight tolerances sand Managing multiple lifts to accelerate construction progress.
The installation of precast modules is a highly coordinated operation requiring expertise and planning as per the chart below (I have attached this).
The Crane lifted and positioned each module into place and aligned it using guide systems and controlled rigging techniques. With Johnson Arabia’s experienced operators and engineered lift plans, every stage was executed with precision and safety at the forefront. This was purely due to the Engineering team lead by Mohammed Fareed Naser and Sreethu Thulaseedharan’s lift planning that included load charts and ground bearing pressure analysis to ensure the life is safe and accurate.
As urban development accelerates and timelines become increasingly demanding, Johnson Arabia remains at the forefront delivering innovative lifting solutions that power the future of construction.
