Shantui Selects Southwest Middle East For Pipelayers

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Southwest Middle East, located in Dubai, has been selected as the regional sales and service representative for Shantui's pipelayers, increasing the Chinese OEM's footprint to 14 countries.

According to the deal, the UAE dealer will sell and support Shantui pipelayers with lifting capabilities ranging from 25 to 90 tonnes, servicing contractors working on pipeline construction, oil and gas, and infrastructure projects throughout the area.

Southwest Middle East will provide equipment sales, leasing, after-sales support, and technical services to clients running specialist pipeline installation fleets. The pipelayers are intended to meet the most recent regional safety and performance criteria.

The appointment expands Shantui's distribution network in the Middle East, where investment in cross-border pipeline, energy, and infrastructure projects is driving demand for heavy-duty pipelaying equipment.
