Hitachi Construction Machinery Expands Into Malawi With New Sub-Dealer

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Hitachi Construction Machinery Zambia has selected Taai Construction & Machinery Services Ltd. as a sub-dealer in Malawi, further increasing its equipment sales and after-sales network in the Southern African market.

The partnership, inked in August, would improve access to Hitachi construction and mining gear, as well as local customer support, with a focus on Malawi's mining, infrastructure, construction, and agriculture industries.

The collaboration brings together Taai's local market presence with Hitachi Construction Machinery Zambia's equipment, technical experience, and regional support capabilities.

The appointment also comes as Hitachi Construction Machinery prepares to transition to the LANDCROS brand on April 1, 2027. Following the shift, the business said that clients in Malawi may anticipate an increased equipment selection, continuous access to its gear, and improved local support.
