Cummins Launches New Fuel System For Off-Highway Applications

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Cummins Inc. has introduced a new Fuel System tailored for non-road, off-highway applications such as construction, mining, and power generation. Developed by Cummins Components and Software, the system is designed for seamless integration across a wide range of engine platforms and industrial sectors.

The Fuel System offers enhanced performance and durability, featuring rail pressures up to 2200 bar and protection up to 2600 bar. Its high-capacity pump delivers over 500 pounds per hour at 1800 bar. Built on Cummins’ Oil Lubricated Pump platform, it supports long-term reliability with a service life of up to 20,000 hours depending on usage.

Designed to meet global emissions standards and reduce total cost of ownership, the system includes serviceable components such as the Low Pressure Pump and Inlet Metering Valve. Manufacturing will take place at a Cummins facility equipped with advanced machining and cleanliness standards, with availability expected in 2025.
