BharatBenz Launches New Truck Range For India’s Infrastructure Sector

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has launched its updated BharatBenz HX and Torqshift truck series to meet growing demand in India’s mining and construction sectors, which are expected to reach $45 billion by 2030.

The new models, including the 2828C and 3532C HX, focus on durability, fuel efficiency, and safety. The Torqshift series features AMT-equipped trucks for mining applications, while the 2828C RMC targets ready-mix concrete transport.

Over 150 units were tested across various job sites before launch, with improvements noted in uptime and efficiency. BharatBenz will support the rollout through 385 dealerships and predictive maintenance services.

The new trucks aim to replace aging fleets and support ongoing infrastructure development across India.
